KidsEye

Kidseye

KidsEye is developed in 2004 as an online multimedia environment that allows children to be the main editors within educational projects. Children could use KidsEye to put articles together, publish them and comment on the input of others.

Within every KidsEye project, the children played the central role. They could use KidsEye to publish their online magazine like articles and add all types of media available, like pictures, sound et cetera and thus become the publishers of their own media.

In previous years KidsEye has been used in several educational projects like with Tate Modern, the KIT Children's Museum in Amsterdam, Cinekid Festival and the 6th and 8th Montessori School. At the start of 2004 a new version of KidsEye became available for further use in Dutch education.
